Corporate Blogging

Heiko Hebig antwortet auf die Frage, ob Unternehmen bloggen sollten:
If you have passion for what your company is doing, you should have a weblog covering what your company is all about. But always remember: it is not the company that has a weblog. It's a person (or a group of persons) that can be identified as part of the company.

Your company does not have a voice. Employees have voices. And opinions.

If you want a "corporate weblog" for your company, be sure to understand the spontaneous nature of weblogs. If you need "workflows", "review cycles", "legal sign-offs" and "version control", a weblog is probably not the right communication tool for you or your company.
